At the beginning of the year I started a new knitting project for a very special little lady. And here it is..
In the end I couldn’t find a pattern I liked so I just made this one up (available to download here if you like that sort of thing). I used Rowan Baby Merino Silk and Alpaca wools which were super soft and subtly change colour throughout the yarn so every triangle is a slightly different shade of teal/turquoise or yellow. I wanted something bold and cheerful that would reflect the springtime season of blue skies and sunshine. I do have a bit of a yellow/turquoise/grey thing going on right now – to be found on my mugs, wall art and nail polish! I also discovered the pattern would actually double over to make a perfect sized cushion cover so I might have to re-stock on that wool!
